Calmplay has been working hard behind the scenes to implement this wonderful community project.

Our playgroup will be run on Tuesday Afternoon @3.30-5pm, monthly and pop-up playgroups on occasional Monday mornings.

‘Calmplay fun day’

‘Calmplay is a new pop-up playgroup in the Adelaide Hills, our focus is small world play experiences, messy play, sensory play and water play all in different trays for little ones to explore.

Please note- sensory bases and natural ingredients are used for these experiences, parent supervision is required at all times.

The Price will be $15.00 per family. (up to 3 children) All inclusive of activities and experiences.

All activities and spaces are set up and created by Tessa, a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator, Experienced Nanny and childminder, mum of two and a Kids Space Designer at weddings and events.

Our playgroup will be situated in the heart of Mount Barker and we will be focusing and nurturing the children’s imagination and creativity through play based learning approaches, nature play, Art and crafts and Imagination Stations promoting dramatic play and role play experiences for your child/ren.

Our playgroup space encourages 0 years-6 years age group.

Under 1’s please supervise or be held as there will be loose parts, small parts and safety is paramount in our space, we have space for prams aswell.

We support the environment and space with Calmplay’s variety of resources, materials and small world play set ups which will spark your child’s wonder and curiosity.

Our outside environment Includes a nature inspired Sandpit, small raised Garden bed, Garden kitchen for children to explore and make mud pies.

Grass to sit on, spaces to explore, art and crafts space., different sensory stations set up, waterplay, obstacle courses.

(please note that the playground outside can’t be used at this present time, I’m hoping it will be removed in the near future)

Our inside environment is warm, spacious, cozy and has been created with so much care, time and purpose for not only for the children but also the families, I have created spaces for under 1’s to sit, crawl and engage with different resources and textiles, this includes books, sensory toys, soft materials and age appropriate resources .

When my children were growing up playgroups and adult interactions and connections was something I truly I adored and cherished and looked forward to every week.

Calmplay’s Playgroup promotes inclusion, community,connections and care.

We have Tea, herbal teas and hot chocolate available too.
